Protel

Updates to Percy

Percy has now been live in MyProtel for a short time, and we want to thank everyone who has already tried it and shared feedback with us. Percy remains very much in beta, so this is still a listening and learning phase, with improvements shaped by how associates are using MyProtel in their day-to-day work.

That feedback is already helping to guide the next stage of development. New Percy features are now live, including direct company and project search, added in response to associate demand, and expanded sales support to help users move from project intelligence to practical next steps more quickly.

The new search functionality is designed to make the journey into MyProtel simpler. Ask Percy to search for a company, project or area of interest, then click through directly to the relevant intelligence report. Once you are reviewing a project, you can refer key details back to Percy and ask for a practical assessment, useful talking points or ideas for a follow-up approach.

As many associates return from summer holidays and refocus on the months ahead, Percy can help make that return easier. Whether you are catching up on project activity, bringing a new user up to speed or preparing for the next sales conversation, Percy offers a faster way to reconnect with the intelligence already available in MyProtel.

How Percy can save time

  • Faster project discovery: Search by company or project and move straight to relevant entries, without spending unnecessary time narrowing results manually.
  • Quicker onboarding: New users can ask Percy where to find information, how to navigate MyProtel and how to begin using project intelligence more confidently.
  • Sales support while you work: Associates can ask for general sales advice, practical tips, outreach ideas, follow-up angles or assistance shaping a more confident sales strategy.
  • Clearer platform guidance: Expanded prompts help associates make better use of Percy and maximise the benefit of MyProtel.

Example workflow

  1. Ask Percy to search for a company, recent project or area of interest.
  2. Click through directly to the relevant entry and open the intelligence report.
  3. Review the project information and ask Percy for a suggested follow-up approach or sales strategy, to capitalise on the relevant intelligence.

This remains a beta version, and feedback is especially valuable at this stage. Please keep telling us what works well, what could be clearer and what you would like Percy to help with next. Every comment helps us improve Percy in the areas that matter most to associates.

Log in to MyProtel, try Percy’s new beta features and let us know what you think.
