Debbie Broun – Before joining Protel in 2002 Debbie had spent 17 years in sales support, direct sales and sales management roles within the beverage and pharmaceutical sectors for equipment supply companies including Scandi Brew Ltd and Toftejorg Ltd.  Debbie is now Protel’s Customer Services Manager and a significant part of her time is spent in maintaining regular contact with our clients to ensure that our services continue to meet their requirements.  Debbie also provides liaison between our clients and research team to provide rapid responses to specific project queries.

Alana Devereux – Alana has 15 years experience in business finance and administration, specializing in implementing and managing effective systems and processes.  Alana ensures that all clients are kept informed of their subscription status and provides a vital link between information users and their accounts departments to ensure a smooth and continuous service.

Tony Hough - Following an early sales career in the financial services sector, Tony graduated with a combined BA in Law, Politics & Economics.  He then moved into transport management within the London-based fashion and magazine industries, and subsequently into general management and business development as a Director of a logistics company with national delivery contracts.  Tony continued his general management and business development focus as a Director of start-up businesses in industrial equipment sales and process engineering, specializing in the ultra-pure chemical sector.  In 1997 Tony became a founding Director of Protel Associates Ltd with specific responsibility for business development, and continues to head the business and its highly talented and experienced staff.

Sue Wakeling - Accounts Administror. Sue came to Protel from a background originally in the travel industry, following that by working in a customer-facing role in banking for 6 years. After which came a variety of sales support/administration and customer service roles. She then worked at an accountants practice for 9 years as an administrator and receptionist. At Protel, Sue is the interface between our research and sales teams, working closely with both them and our customers, looking after subscriptions, payments and our customers’ needs and enquiries.
