Background

Burdinola UK is the UK office for the Spanish company Burdinola S. Coop, who are a European based company with offices in 7 European countries. They design, manufacture and install laboratory furniture, fume cupboards, safety cabinets and complimentary specialist equipment and integral services, supplying a wide range of clients in Research & Development and Universities worldwide.

The Need

In 2004 Burdinola were establishing a new division/subsidiary in the UK. To enable them to kick start the business from start up their Managing Director recognised that they needed a good source of ‘target specific’ project data that would provide them with both good business development opportunities and an accurate database of contacts for their marketing activities. The data would need to provide early information that was accurate but inexpensive and be specifically focussed to Burdinola’s market. It needed to be easy source and time efficient as resources did not allow for hours spent filtering unwanted information.

The Solution

The subscription was simple and focussed, it didn’t include reams of irrelevant data and the annual fee was a relatively small cost.
