Protel’s Food & Drink project reporting extends throughout the UK and Ireland and covers all aspects of product development and manufacturing across the industry, including primary and secondary production and packaging in sectors such as ingredients, dairy, bakery, ready-meals, brewing and distilling.
Projects range from plant upgrades and modifications to expansions and complete new builds, all with a breadth of scope to include a wide range of process equipment and associated services. Protel’s focus on the processing aspects of projects includes the production environment and ancillary services such as hygienic areas, utilities, effluent treatment and laboratories.
Protel’s research team are currently investigating and tracking more than 170 active projects in the Food & Drink sector across c.165 sites, with a combined value in excess of £1.6 billion (€2.2bn).
